| | Seeking Marriage and Family Therapy or Counseling?  Many families in crisis seek marriage counseling or therapy to improve family life. What many families do not know is that there are options besides or in addition to marriage and family counseling or therapy. The Oklahoma Marriage Initiative provides marriage workshops to help families improve their lives by improving their communication skills.
OMI workshops are available free of charge to all families in Oklahoma, in order to make these services available to those that may not have the financial resources to seek marriage and family counseling or therapy.
In these marriage and family education workshops, couples and families learn how to: - Communicate better
- Put fun into their marriage and family life
- Handle conflict constructively
- And much more!
Oklahoma Marriage Initiative workshops are frequently taught by Licensed Marriage and Family Therapists. While these marriage workshops are not a form of marriage and family counseling or therapy by themselves, they still provide couples with some of the skills they need to improve their marriage and family life.
